Gawd....sorry peeps have not been around all that much.  Would you believe whooping cough?  Well goddamn, some selfish person brought it into work a few weeks ago.  All I can say is the same thing that some guy said about it somewhere on the internet:

Week one - You think you are dying.
Week two - You wish you were dead.
Week three - You slowly come out of it.

At the moment I can barely hear anything, but the cough has got better (touch wood).

Also I may have to swap browsers because anything on IE8 (or is it 9, whatever the newest one is) takes forever to upload one single pic.

Finally got a new pc around a month ago - the other member of the household decided that the laptop was too noisy for me  to use, so we got a new one.  Windows 7 is definitely a nice change from XP.  Graphics card, though new, runs a bit hot and dodgy sometimes.

Learning how to draw people at the moment, which I have been trying to do for years...but finally got the courage after watching some videos - which is way better than what my tons of books have taught me.  My hands and feet still suck though.  I can draw a 'portrait' of a hand, but actually trying to attach it to a posed human body is impossible for me at the moment LOL.  That and my imagination thse days are pretty dulled, but working on it.

Going to do a sketchbook 'dump' (as they call it on DA) soon, when I get some time and incentive.

5. MOST IMPORTANT - if you use anything at all for albums, game covers etc - the ONLY thing that I ask appreciatively is that you send me the item! (Because it would be very cool if not too expensive to send).  If it's a 300 pound statue with a texture of mine on it, a photo will be fine haha.



Sorry haven't been on lately, pc shat itself - not sure what is wrong with it, but can't be bothered trying to work it out just yet.  So I am using a pc that is faithful, slow, and 10 years old that does not like photoshop all that much.  

Going to upload a series of photos from the botanical gardens in Melbourne that I hope you peeps will enjoy   Have not adjusted the colors or anything in these because photoshop tends to run very slowly on this computer.  If this one breaks down, then I only have the laptop from hell to use.

My utmost thoughts and prayers for the poor people near San Francisco.  I was shattered when I read today about the flames engulfing lives and houses.  I really wanted to leave work early I felt so bad after reading some of the survivors' stories on this.
